2021 Mini Countryman Facelift

The updated 2018-2019 Mini Countryman crossover was declassified on May 27, 2020. The Countryman family of the 2nd generation was updated only three and a half years after the world premiere of the model at the Los Angeles Auto Show in November 2016. By the way, restyling of the British premium crossover went according to the minimum scenario. They made a facelift for a stylish SUV, improved the interior and outfitted models with more options.
Acceptance of orders in Europe for the new Mini Countryman started immediately after the official premiere at a price of 29.5 thousand euros. European dealers updated Countryman family crossovers will appear in the middle of summer 2020. And the novelty will get to the Russian market closer to the fall.

Restyling minimally changed the appearance of the crossover. Designers with light strokes gave the car body a more modern and stylish look. Headlamps, fog lights and parking lights are already in the base version completely LED. Markers in Union Jack design are available as an option. In the arsenal is a new false radiator and grille bumpers. Expanded variations of 16, 17 and 19-inch wheels. The optional Piano Black Exterior package will add to the crossover impressiveness.
Inside, a new oval dashboard with a 5-inch color screen. Steering wheel with leather trim rim in the base. Upgraded multimedia system with an 8.8-inch touchscreen. Leather interior means not only the trim of the seats, but also decorative inserts at the base of the front panel. Producing offers for a fee, new leather finishes Chester Indigo Blue and Chester Malt Brown.
The engine range for the updated Mini Countryman has remained the same, if you do not take into account the fact that the powerful Cooper S engine has lost 14 horses and now produces only 178 forces.
The choice of buyers of 1.5-liter and 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engines and turbo diesel engines with power from 102 forces (Countryman One version) to 190 forces (the most powerful Countryman Cooper SD). All engines comply with the strict Euro 6d environmental standards (gasoline with diesel particulate filters and diesel engines with AdBlue urea injection system and two in-line turbochargers). There are three gearboxes to choose from: 6 manual transmissions, 7-speed “robot” and 8 automatic transmissions.
It’s annoying, but after restyling, the combination of four-wheel drive and a manual transmission is not available for order. So all-wheel drive transmission is offered only with a robotic gearbox and “automatic”.
At the top of the family is the Mini Cooper S E Countryman ALL4 all-wheel drive rechargeable hybrid with a 220-horsepower hybrid powerplant and 6 automatic transmissions. A gasoline three-cylinder 1.5-liter engine rotates the front wheels, and the rear electric motor. A battery capacity of 9.6 kWh provides a reserve of up to 61 km in electric mode.
