The electric SUV offer two types in China: the grey model in the video is the ID.4 X while the white one is the ID.4 Crozz. Dont ask, why the double ‘Z’.
The design style is very obviously closely related to the ID.3 hatchback. The ID.4 X and ID.4 Crozz share the 2,765 mm (108.8 in) wheelbase and 1,852 mm (72.9 in) width, but have different lengths and heights. The ID.4 X is 4,612 mm (181.6 in) long and 1,640 mm (64.5 in) tall, while the ID.4 Crozz is slightly shorter and lower at 4,592 mm (180.8 in) and 1,629 mm (64.1 in), respectively. The variations are attributable to the different bumper designs and ride heights.
Both models will be built by the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture in China based on the MEB electric vehicle architecture. A 150 kW (204 PS / 201 HP) electric motor shared with higher-end ID.3 models is found in the ID.4 X and ID.4 Crozz, likely mounted on the rear axle just like in the hatchback.
The battery choices should be similar, with the biggest one enabling a range of around 500 km (310 miles) as per NEDC.

The multimedia system features a new touchscreen and is compatible with SmartDeviceLinkTM*3, Apple CarPlay*4, and Android AutoTM*5. Linking a user’s iPhone*4 or AndroidTM*5 smartphone to the wide 10.3-inch touchscreen allows for the remote control of the screen and audio functions, enhancing user-friendliness.

The performance of the single-lens camera and millimeter-wave radar has been improved to expand the response range of the Pre-Collision System, which is designed to detect daytime bicyclists and pedestrians in low-light conditions and, at intersections, to detect oncoming vehicles before right turns*6 and pedestrians crossing the street from the direction toward which the vehicle was traveling before it started to make a right or left turn. Also featured are functions such as Emergency Steering Assist, which assists steering within the vehicle’s lane as cued by the driver, and Low Speed Acceleration Control*7, which supports the prevention of collisions caused by pedal misapplication at times of reduced speed.
Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) combine to make it easier for the driver to keep in the current lane on a motor-vehicle-only roadway, etc. If the system detects a potential lane departure, LTA alerts the driver with a visual warning and either an audible alert or steering wheel vibration. In the new IS, lane recognition performance, which makes assist possible, has been improved. When LTA is activated, AI technologies are applied to camera-actuated, white-line recognition for advanced deceleration of the vehicle in line with the size of the curve. Keeping lateral g-forces constant while driving through curves contributes to stable and comfortable driving and makes driving assist more continuous even in curves with a smaller radius and in tunnels.
Automatic High Beam detects preceding or oncoming vehicles and automatically switches between high beam and low beam headlights.
Road Sign Assist acquires road sign information using a camera and navigation maps and displays it on the multi-information display. This reduces possible driver failure in recognizing signs and supports safe driving.
If non-operation by the driver continues during use of Lane Tracing Assist, Driver Emergency Stop Assist*8 (coordinated with Lane Tracing Assist) supports the driver through audio and visual alerts and gentle deceleration. It then activates the vehicle’s hazard lamps and horn to alert those outside the vehicle to help prevent or reduce damage to the vehicle or to others, while slowing and eventually stopping the vehicle within its lane. After stopping the vehicle, it unlocks the doors and activates an automatic HELPNET*8 connection for a rescue request, contributing to early driver rescue.

The new Ford Transit Trail and Transit Custom Trail deliver rugged new looks and enhanced capability to support owners and operators whose work takes them to challenging terrain away from normal roads.
A choice of drivetrains offers enhanced traction for difficult conditions. Front-wheel-drive Transit and Transit Custom Trail models are fitted with an mLSD as standard, and Transit Trail is available with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive for confident progress in more challenging terrain and weather conditions.
Developed in partnership with driveline technology specialists Quaife, the mLSD automatically transfers engine torque in low grip conditions to the wheel with the most traction, allowing Transit Trail and Transit Custom Trail to more comfortably tackle unpaved roads, gravel tracks and rugged or challenging surfaces. The vehicle’s Electronic Stability Control system has also been recalibrated to harmonise with the mLSD. The same technology has previously been used to enhance the traction and handling characteristics of Ford Performance models including the Focus RS, Fiesta ST and Focus ST, and has no impact on CO2 emissions or fuel efficiency.
Transit Trail is also available with Intelligent All-Wheel Drive for optimised traction off-road. The technology enhances the base rear-wheel drive configuration by sending up to 50 per cent of engine torque to the front axle based on available grip in response to changing road surfaces and driver inputs.
Transit Trail’s Intelligent All-Wheel Drive technology is also supported by additional Slippery and Mud/Rut Selectable Drive Modes, designed to improve performance and driver confidence across a variety of driving scenarios and easily selected using the Drive Mode controller on the dashboard. Intelligent All-Wheel Drive also features AWD Lock mode to split torque 50:50 between front and rear axles on extreme low-grip surfaces. The 2021 Porsche Cayenne GTS and 2021 Porsche Cayenne GTS Coupe arrive to give customers a new, performance-oriented choice slotting between the existing S and Turbo trim levels.
